My Review

I don't think I need to explain why I picked this book. As you may know, this book is well-loved in the bookish community. Unfortunately, it is not loved by me. I wanted nothing more than to enjoy this book just like the majority who has read it.



I can list many, many reasons why I didn't like this book. But, I don't like writing bad reviews. I don't like pooing on a book that so many people love and I don't want to put anyone else off from reading it.



There was nothing wrong with this book. In this case, it was strictly a "me" thing. This book was just not for me. I will say that I didn't enjoy the pacing and that I found the book quite uneventful.



I enjoy Erin Morgenstern's writing. This is probably one of the most beautifully written books I have ever read. I just didn't find it gripping. I feel like I still might give The Starless Sea a chance... We shall see!
