I really love the "friends to lovers" trope. I really enjoy the build up to something that you know is going to be amazing. Emergency Contact is a great example of this trope. The build up takes up a good majority of the book and I just love that.
I also really wish that it wasn't so slow. In Emergency Contact, you don't really get to see Penny and Sam's romantic relationship. I need more!
