Meet the Blogger
HI, I'M TIFFANY!
Hi, I’m Tiffany… unapologetically obsessed with books. This blog is my personal reading journal where I track the books I read, the ones I buy (maybe too often), and everything in between. Think of it as a bookish diary. If you love stories, shelves full of TBRs, and honest thoughts on all things bookish, you’re in the right place. Let’s be book friends!

10 Books I Bought Because The Illustrated Cover!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reading Girl.

This week's topic was kind of freebie. I wanted to list a few books that I bought because of their beautiful illustrated covers! Illustrated covers are quite popular right now. I wanted to share my favorites! I know I previously did this on my previous blog, but I'm gonna do it again. Why not?!

I didn't buy these books just because of the illustrated covers. I feel like I'm more inclined to pick up a romance if the cover is cute and doesn't have actual people on the cover. I just hate the shirtless guys and sexy girls on covers. I don't know why.

  • Well Met by Jen DeLuca: This book is obviously about all things Renaissance with romance. This cute cover showcases so many things that one would associate with Renaissance.
  • The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang: I think the cover to this book is obnoxiously cute. It goes so well with what this book is about!
  • Faker by Sarah Smith: I really love the illustrated girl on this cover. She's exactly how I would have imagined Emmie.
  • The Bromance Book Club: This cover is just all around fun. You get Gavin's butt and a romance novel in his back pocket!
  • Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey: This cover is a perfect representation of how cute this book is. I love that a ladder is involved. It gives you a little bit of an insight to what this book is about.

  2. I agree with you on the half-naked covers. No, thank you! Ick. I don't always love illustrated covers either, but they're infinitely more appealing than half-naked ones :)

    Happy TTT!

    1. I don't need a guy with abs on the cover to know it's a romance >.>

  4. I love that you bought these all for their beauty. I'm actually not big on the illustrated trend, but some are cute. They're all starting to look to similar to me now though. Your collection is striking.
