June '24 Book Haul

This is my first book haul on my new blog! I did pretty good at not overbuying books this month. I'm not going to lie, I don't buy as many books during the summer because my son's summer camp is expensive. 

I am trying really hard to stay positive in wanting to keep my blog active. I feel like when I do blog/post on Insta that I read more... I don't know if that makes any sense. 

The Wren In The Holly Library by K.A. Linde: This is a book I couldn't miss out on. The first edition is absolutely stunning. I honestly cannot wait to read this book. I hope it's beautiful on the inside as well.

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller: I read this book a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. They just recently came out with a new edition with sprayed edges so I had to get a new copy!

A Flicker In The Dark by Stacy Willingham: This is my attempt at reading more outside the romance and fantasy genres. I got this one from my local library for a couple of dollars and I couldn't pass it up.

Director's Cut by Carlyn Greenwald: It's been a little while since I've won a Goodreads giveaway! I'm pretty stoked about this sapphic romance. I'm hoping I like it because the ratings are kinda mid.

Nectar Of The Wicked by Ella Fields: Unfortunately, this is the book that made me cancel my Romantasy subscription with Fairyloot. I do want to read this book... unfortunately I just don't think I need "pretty" books anymore without reading them first. If it's a book I love, I will get a pretty edition if there is one available. 

Collide by Bal Khabra: I've been seeing this book everywhere. The cover is super cute and I've heard nothing but good things about it! I'm hoping I love it like everyone else.

Not In Love by Ali Hazelwood: My husband mistakenly took me to Walmart with him. I always need a trophy when I go into a Walmart and I don't lose my shit on someone. I also really wanted this book to add to my Ali Hazelwood collection.

Forget Me Not by Julie Soto: I had a gift card at work and I saw that this one was on sale for like $7. I've been meaning to buy this book for the longest time but I honestly was waiting for it to go on sale. Now I have it and I'm dying to read it!

Out On A Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young: This one has been on my mind for a long time now. I finally bought a copy. I am wishing that I ordered the original first because I think I prefer that cover better...
