Hello, I still exist. Life has been a bit stressful lately. I haven't posted in a while because I've honestly just not felt like it. I truly would love to continue to post because I have made my blog so beautiful that I just want to keep adding to it!
I honestly didn't read much this month. I did read some pretty chunky books though. I am hoping that in September, I can get back to writing my book reviews and doing more posts.
How was your August? What did you read? What did you accomplish?
Away From The Blog
I can honestly say that I have not been reading as much as I usually do. That's mostly due to the fact we might be moving soon. We have been in the same apartment for almost fourteen years. We have been spending all of our extra time trying to get the house we will be moving into ready. We are hoping to be moved in by the end of October... but something is telling me it won't be until November.
I am honestly so ready to have this done. I miss having my weekends not filled with housework. I cannot wait until I can go out and use my camera again. I want to take pictures of animals dammit.
What I Read This Month
A Fire In The Flesh by Jennifer L. Armentrout: This is the 3rd book in this series and it is the book that may have made me give up on her books. I used to love her books. I haven't read a book of hers in like two years and I don't think I enjoy her books anymore. 2/5⭐
Just For The Cameras by Meghan Quinn: I would have adored this book... if it weren't so long. I really loved the relationship between Graydon and Maple. I think they were perfect for each other. I still love Meghan Quinn, but this one was not a favorite. 3.25/5⭐
Silver Elite by Dani Francis: This was an unexpected reread for me. I wanted to just dive right into Broken Dove... I could not do that. After trying to read a recap, I had to pick this back up. I'm glad I did because I loved it more than I did the first time! 4.5/5⭐
Broken Dove by Dani Francis: This book has made me realize that Dani Francis is the queen of cliff hangers. I need the third book immediately. How are you going to leave a book off like that?? 4/5⭐
Once A Villain by Saige Parker: I should have DNFed this book. The main character was insanely annoying. I will not be continuing this duet. 1.5/5⭐
